Some odd news reported on NBC’s new food website FEAST yesterday:
Feast has received word that food options for frequent fliers at LaGuardia Aiport are about to get markedly better. An Italian-centric food mecca of sorts is in the works for the airport, with a slew of huge food world names involved including Brooklyn pizza heavyweight Di Fara Pizza. Pizzaiolo Dom De Marco of Di Fara confirmed that he is in talks to open a branch at LaGuardia, when we reached Dom yesterday. [read more]
We can’t see this actually happening. Dom won’t even let his children touch his pizzas, we can’t see him expanding the pizza place’s reach to another location… in an airport, nevertheless. And if he does — we imagine Di Fara LaGuardia will be about as good as the Totonno’s Manhattan locations.
