Grub Street has unveiled the breakfast and dinner menus for Pulino’s Bar & Pizzeria, one of the most highly anticipated pizza openings of the year. The prices of the dinner menu pies seem reasonable ($9 – $14) and one pie that stands out is the PORCHETTA — porchetta, tomato, red onion, mozzarella, and pecorino.
There are 13 pies on the dinner menu and other than three of them — the bianca, quattro formaggi, and the margherita — there are no other strickly vegetarian pies on the menu.
One pie has tuna, another has anchovies, another has shrimp covering the “sea” category. Then there’s the aforementioned porchetta pie and another with beef meatball covering the “meat” category. And finally you have a pie with pork stutto, another with salame piccante, another with pancetta, another with prosciutto, and another with sausage covering the “pig” category.
So vegetarians — your options are limited. Good luck!
